PLASTIC FREE PIPELINE

Thousands of people got barreled in the sculpture and millions of viewers caught it's message online urging them to choose reusables over single-use plastics and to support local, responsible fisheries that don't litter the ocean with plastic net and rope. This sculpture was made on Oahu in partnership with the Kokua Hawaii Foundation, Turtle Bay Foundation, Bureo, WSL Pure, Hydroflask, and Sustainable Coastlines Hawaii.

It was first installed at the 2018 Pipe Master’s contest on the North Shore of Oahu. In the years that followed, the sculpture travelled to Turtle Bay Resort, Shark's Cove, and the Bernice Pauai Bishop Museum for the Mai Kinohi Mai exhibit on the history of surfing in the Hawaiian Islands.
