I made this series of prints from various natural and synthetic objects I find, from seagrass and fish to plastic bags and old fishing rope. I apply paint to the object then transfer it carefully to the paper/cloth through a manual rubbing/pressing process. Each artwork is a meditation on the beauty of the ocean environment and human kind's impacts through plastic pollution and overfishing. Shown here with a custom-made seamless birch plywood frame.
